This 16 hour workshop will cover the basics and more of Jaw and Intraoral Bodywork. Topics will include: legal requirements, sanitation protocols, informed consent, jaw assessment, cranial anatomy and physiology, jaw anatomy, jaw kinesiology, related pathology and procedures to safely and effectively work with the masseter, temporalis, pterygoids, hyoids, facial muscles, floor of the mouth, roof of the mouth, and more. This workshop is set up for people that have never worked with the jaw before but has plenty of depth and focus for those who are already working with the jaw and would like a deeper understanding of jaw dynamics and manual therapy.
Please note: We have made every effort to plan this workshop to suffice for the 16 hour Washington State Intraoral Endorsement Training Requirement. If Washington State Endorsement is being sought, this requires a separate application to the Washington Department of Health by the participant once the class is completed.
This, like all of our workshops, is a small-group class with lots of direct table-side assistance. There is limited availability so sign up soon!
