This workshop will cover the basics and more of Intraoral Bodywork. We have planned it to suffice for the 16 hour Washington State Intraoral Endorsement Training Requirement. Please note that if Washington State Endorsement is being sought, this requires a separate application by the participant once the class is completed.
Topics will include: Washington and Oregon legal requirements, sanitation protocols, informed consent, jaw assessment, cranial anatomy, jaw anatomy, jaw kinesiology, related pathology and procedures to safely and effectively work with the masseter, temporalis, pterygoids, hyoids, facial muscles, floor of the mouth, and more. This workshop is set up for people that have never worked with the jaw before but has plenty of depth and focus for those who are already working with the jaw and would like a deeper understanding of jaw dynamics and manual therapy.
This, like all of our workshops, is a small-group class with lots of direct table-side assistance. There is limited availability so sign up soon!
