All too often we refer to the “shoulder” without even considering its complexity and yet so many clients we see have issues with this multi-joint structure. It is our goal for this workshop to help clarify the structures in the shoulder and give participants a strong foundation of anatomy, assessment and technique to be able to create shoulders that move fluidly and hang easily from the torso.

Our two day workshop will be filled with nothing but bodywork, assessment and treatment strategies relating to the structures, muscular connections and fascial patterning of the shoulder, specifically as it relates to its connections to the thorax and neck.

Being able to see as much of the details as we can in a client’s spine and shoulder region is a significant part of treatment planning. For this workshop we request that you wear clothing appropriate for posture assessment and bodywork for the torso such as athletic clothing, sports or other full-coverage bras, bathing suits, tank tops, boxer-type briefs, etc.

There will be a 60 minute lunch break each day.
