ONLINE Unpacking “Frozen” Shoulder: Integrative Bodywork For Shoulder Mobility Issues ONLINE (Live-Streamed) October 16-17, 2026

$275.00

This is for Online participation via Zoom (link will be emailed upon confirmation). We strive to make the live-stream experience as in-person as possible. Please have a model to practice techniques with and a space conducive to practicing bodywork where your live-streaming device can see your work. This allows us the best position to help you through Zoom. We have been happily surprised by how well we can provide instruction and “table-side” assistance through the live-streaming format.

October 16, 4:00-8:00 PM PDT

October 17, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM PDT

Please check in at 3:45 PM PDT on October 16 and 8:45 AM PDT on October 17 so we can get the online participants settled before the workshop starts at 4:00 PM PDT.

10 Supervised Hour CEs - Live Online, NCBTMB approval pending.

We will simultaneously be recording & broadcasting class for people tuning in through Zoom as well during this workshop and wanted to make sure that you are aware of this.

Not every shoulder mobility problem is the same or needs the same treatment. This workshop aims to take a deeper look at the anatomy, the joint mechanics, and the most common mobility pathologies of the “Shoulder Complex” seen in a manual therapy practice. We will include frozen shoulder (adhesive capulitis) and rotator cuff injuries as well as postural and movement imbalances that accompany or contribute to shoulder pathologies. In this 10 hour workshop we will explore essential screens and assessments to better understand the issue at hand and when/where/how we can work and when we should refer out. We will explore current research and treatment planning regarding common shoulder pathologies. We will then explore integrative bodywork techniques for the muscles and fascia surrounding the shoulder and the rotator cuff. As always, we will explore techniques using sustainable body mechanics.

You will need to have or create a Zoom account to participate and we recommend doing so a few days before the workshop. Please have a practice partner, client or colleague (camera on) available for the class's practice periods Your practice partner does not need to have foot-related issues…the techniques and concepts presented will be helpful to any foot. You will have the ability to ask questions, get feedback from both Alex and Jonathan directly throughout the workshop. After participating in the workshop, in order to receive your certificate, you will need to fill out a course evaluation form via email.

This is a newer format for IBMT, and while tested, is somewhat subject to technological and circumstantial variables. In the case of any serious issues with live-streaming, we will arrange other credit options or refunds for you.

You may cancel up to 5 days before the workshop and receive a full refund. Refunds thereafter will be on a case by case basis.
